This scalp lotion is a blend of natural plant ingredients, which have a very beneficial effect on your hair and it's growing cycles. The main active ingredient is Humulus Lupulus (Hops), which is a natural effective inhibitor of the activity of the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme responsible for the formation of DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), which is the main hormone responsible for hair loss in androgenic alopecia. It is also a nourishing oil that is both an effective hair conditioner and thickener and improves softness and manageability to your hair.

It is an activator of keratinocyte proliferation, meaning it creates cell regeneration within your follicle and it is a highly effective anti-oxidant for the dermal papilla (the 'root' of your hair follicle). It prevents the papilla from changing prematurely from the growing phase to the resting phase by reducing the level of oxidation occurring in the papilla. This elevated level of oxidation is a necessity to create these changes in your hair growth phases.

The two primary causes of hair loss are the active presence of the hormone DHT (5-alpha-hydrotestosterone) in hair-producing cells, and a loss of blood flow to the scalp. Our Thinning Hair Treatment, effectively blocks DHT production on your scalp, helping to minimize hair thinning almost immediately. It then increases oxygen and blood flow to the roots, stimulating new growth. It helps to increase your hair’s volume, prevent breakage, thus, creating the optimum environment for new hair growth! It contains an anti-fungal ingredient, Piroctone Olamine, which helps to increase your hair shaft diameter and decrease hair shedding. Hair shedding and hair thinning have been reported to be affected by dandruff and 'unhealthy' scalps. Anti-fungals help normalize your scalp, creating a soothing effect on irritated scalp tissues, and controlling any excessive oil production, which in turn helps to reduce hair shedding and increase your hair growing cylces.
